Half the answers lost in Listening were heard correctly and written down wrong. Plurals, dates said as two numbers, and the gap between fifteen and fifty are the three that turn up most.
Write the answer the moment you hear it, in whatever form you heard it, and tidy it up at the end. Tidying while the recording is still running is how you miss the next one.
